Certified Translation
How much does certified translation cost in Dublin?
Certified translations are €39.99 per page with 24-hour delivery for 1-3 pages. Sworn translations, where an authority asks for one, are €99.99 per page. Every translation is priced per page of your document and you see the price before you pay.
How fast can I get a certified translation?
Within 24 hours for 1-3 pages, 36 hours for 4-6 pages and 48 hours for 7-10 pages. Prioritise for €59.99 per page and it is within 12 hours. A sworn translation adds 24 hours.
Can your translations be used with Irish authorities?
Our certified translations are prepared for Immigration Service Delivery (ISD, formerly INIS), the Passport Office, Department of Justice, HSE, Revenue Commissioners, Irish courts, QQI and Irish universities. Each translation ships with a signed Statement of Accuracy carrying CRO 803790.
What documents can you translate?
We translate birth certificates, marriage certificates, diplomas, degrees, passports, driving licenses, police certificates, medical records, court judgments, contracts, powers of attorney, bank statements, and all personal or legal documents.
Do I need certified or notarised translation for ISD?
For ISD applications (IRP registration, visa, family reunification, citizenship under Section 15 of the Nationality Act 1956), certified translation with a signed Statement of Accuracy is the standard. Notarisation is not usually required by ISD itself; a sworn translation or Hague Apostille only if a receiving authority specifies it.
Can you translate documents not in English or Irish?
Yes. We translate between 200+ languages including Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Romanian, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and more. All translations are into English (or from English into the target language).
How do I send my documents for translation?
Email clear photos or scans to contact@tatkowski.com or send via WhatsApp to +353 83 871 0861. We'll review and provide a quote.
What is the difference between certified and sworn translation?
In Ireland, 'certified translation' is the standard. The translator certifies accuracy and signs. 'Sworn translation' is a specific legal designation used in some EU countries, and Ireland keeps no state register of sworn translators. If an authority asks you for a sworn translation, choose Sworn: the translator's declaration of accuracy is sworn before a solicitor or Commissioner for Oaths, at €99.99 per page, delivered 24 hours later than certified.
