  • Continuity

Same interpreter retained for multi-session negotiation series when possible.

In depth

Session Modes by Meeting Type

Board Meetings

Formal register, minute-ready accuracy and a briefing pack shared 48 hours ahead. Where one or two non-executive directors sit outside the working language, whispered simultaneous is delivered from beside the delegate so the wider room continues in English.

  • Briefing pack: agenda, prior minutes, resolutions to be tabled, board-glossary
  • Whispered simultaneous for 1–2 delegates; consecutive if the whole room is bilingual

Client Meetings

Sales conversations, technical demos and contract-review sessions. Mode is chosen by pace and confidentiality: consecutive when the goal is precision and relationship-building, whispered simultaneous when the client-side team is briefed in real time on a live English pitch, remote simultaneous when the buyer is in another country and travel is not warranted.

  • Sales / pre-sale: consecutive keeps pace deliberate and trust-building
  • Technical demo: interpreter briefed on the product taxonomy in advance
  • Contract review: consecutive with document-anchored turn-taking
  • Cross-border pitch: remote simultaneous

Confidentiality, NDAs and Data Handling

We can put an NDA in place on request, in whichever form the client prefers.

Mutual vs Client-Provided NDAs

Where legal prefers to issue their own, as is common in M&A and R&D collaborations, the interpreter signs the client’s document directly, ahead of any material being shared.

Secure Comms

Decks, term sheets and draft releases are shared via the client’s preferred secure channel — typically a data-room link with view-only permissions.

Remote-Only Setups

The setup is not just “interpreter dials in” — platform choice and audio quality shape whether the session lands.

Platform Coverage

Zoom is the cleanest environment: native interpretation channels, per-language audio, no bleed. Teams supports interpretation on qualifying licences. Webex works via a parallel audio bridge when native interpretation is not enabled. Google Meet is not recommended for simultaneous — consecutive works, simultaneous is worked around.

Audio & VRI Etiquette

Wired headset and a quiet room are non-negotiable for the interpreter and strongly recommended for principal speakers. Video-remote interpreting (VRI) requires the interpreter to see faces — gallery view on, not speaker view. One speaker at a time, hand-raise for turn-taking, chat used for spelling out proper nouns and figures.

Dry-Run Before the Session

A quick technical dry-run 24 hours before the session catches audio issues, platform-permission gaps and channel routing before they become live problems.

Process

How It Works

  1. Tell Us the Meeting

Meeting format (board, training, sales, investor call), delegate count, language pair, date and expected duration, and the platform if remote. Two minutes on the form or a WhatsApp message.

  2. Interpreter Matched

We assign an interpreter for the mode (consecutive, simultaneous or whispered), subject to availability. Where you need an NDA, it is signed before any materials are shared.

  3. Session Runs

Interpreter attends on-site or joins your Zoom, Teams or Webex call. Pre-session briefing on terminology and agenda where time allows.

  4. Payment on Confirmation

B2B: invoice and bank transfer, paid upfront on confirmation. Private bookings pay on confirmation by card or bank transfer.

Pricing

Business interpreting starts from €149.99 per hour in person and €49.99 per 30 minutes remote, priced by mode, duration and notice. Final price confirmed before booking, based on language, location, date, duration and availability. Minimum booking applies, and travel outside the city is quoted separately.
